Final Project Proposal
- Create a mood board
- Mood board must include visual/audible references for your final project idea.
- Include a one paragraph of explanation of your project.
- You can use Miro or Canva like online mood boards.
- Submit the image or link (be sure that it is publicly available) to your mood board.
- Do not limit your self, just image a utilizes sound as a medium (A documentary project, recording of your own sound compositions related to lectures, an experimental device that generates sounds, a self made analog sound object, an acoustic ecology study of a specific location, audiovisual performance, live coding performance, etc…).
- Before crying out, please check the previous course material and student works. We discussed so many topics.

Final Project Proposal Template
Please complete each section carefully. Use this template as a guide to structure your proposal.
1. Identity
- On top left corner of an A4 document write the course name and date (COD 412 Sound Projects & Media, 2026)
- Your name and surname
2. Project Title
- Write a concise, descriptive name for your project.
- Aim for clarity and creativity — the title should capture the essence of your idea.
3. Project Description
- What is your project about?
- Which medium are you working with (e.g., physical computing, acoustic ecology, soundscape study, musique concrète, documentary sound design, foley recording, sound installation, new musical interface)?
- What methods, tools, or processes will you use?
- What experience or outcome do you want to create for your audience?
4. Theoretical Background
- Which concepts, theories, or practices inform your project?
- How does your project connect to existing artistic or scholarly contexts?
- Reference key ideas from sound studies, acoustic ecology, media theory, or other relevant fields.

- Keep your writing clear and concise.
- Use academic language where appropriate, but make sure your ideas remain accessible.
- Demonstrate both creative vision and critical reflection.
- Think of this proposal as a roadmap: it should guide both you and your audience through the project’s purpose and direction.
